Hard to imagine that in less than 3 months we'll be off on our great adventure! We have our plane tickets, hotel and tour reservations, shots and other exotic medicines, visa for India and even a neat little apartment in Uzes, France: http://www.vacationrentalsfrance.com/Uzes_apartment_rental.htm
So all we have to do is get ourselves in shape for it - I'm hoping to get my eyes back together by then, and maybe even have a touch up on my knees. This posting is just to get the blog started - the next ones will be filled with pictures and wild tales of adventure and derring- do (or don't)!

Amy,I have friends in Lima who might be able to find out whether Susan and Rance are ok. If you want to call my cell is 602 300 7268. My friends said that the Erthquake in Lima was not strong - the worst was three hours South of Lima. I would have to know where they went and with what organization.
